What is K-CELL
K-CELL test refers to the use of thousands of cells for whole exome sequencing (WES), transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) and other omics detection and analysis, so as to evaluate the information related to clinical medication guidance.
What is FGI
In the field of precision medicine, more and more studies have carried out functional genetic analysis. FGI (Functional Genomic Imaging) is a functional genomics testing and consulting service based on the transcriptome gene expression information of individual tumor samples, aiming to explore and help individualized precision medicine from the dimension of genetic characteristics.
FGI analysis evaluates the relevant gene characteristics of tumor cells and tumor microenvironment from the RNA sequencing data of tumor samples, depicts the gene regulation in units of cell function and gene function clustering, and detects the variation in individualized tumor gene characteristics.
Advantages and applications of K-CELL testing
01 Smaller sample size
It effectively solves the problem of the insufficient amount of tissue samples required for routine sequencing detection.
02 WES and RNA, a more comprehensive approach
Whole exome and transcriptome assays provide broader coverage, DNA and RNA assays can accurately detect genetic mutations and fusions/rearrangements in samples.
03 Visualizing cells and functional subsets
The functional classification of cell subsets by the method of systems biology can distinguish tumor cells, normal cells, immune system, vascular system, and other cell subsets, as well as the gene expression of functional units such as interferon-stimulated genes and cell proliferation-related genes.
04 Functional typing at the transcriptome level
FGI analysis can perform functional typing from the transcriptome level and predict drug sensitivity, which makes up for the deficiency of DNA level drug sensitivity detection and makes the detection more comprehensive.
05 Providing comprehensive clinical medication information
Covering all marketed targeted drugs and immune drugs approved by NMPA (National Medical Products Administration) and FDA (US Food and Drug Administration), and ongoing clinical trials of chemotherapeutic drugs, targeted or immune drugs at home and abroad, giving more choices for clinical treatment.
06 Researching the mechanism of drug resistance
Assist doctors in understanding the mechanism of drug resistance and formulating better drug regimens.
